2026 World Cup: We’ve beaten you twice – Spain coach, De La Fuente warns France
by Ifreke Inyang · Daily PostSpain manager, Luis de la Fuente, has said he is confident his team will beat France in the semi-final of the 2026 World Cup.
La Roja progressed into the last four, thanks to a 2-1 win over Belgium.
On the other hand, Les Bleus beat Morocco 2-0 to book their spot.
De La Fuente has now claimed Spain’s tactical approach and current form gives them an advantage.
“Let me be clear: We are not finished,” De La Fuente said.
“We are going to work to try to overcome France, but they will be just as worried, as we’ve shown we’re the only team in the world capable of beating them in two consecutive matches.”
