NPFL: Insurance boss Boboye lays down marker ahead new season
by Mike Oyebola · Daily PostBendel Insurance technical adviser, Kennedy Boboye has tasked his players to improve their performance in the 2026/27 season, DAILY POST reports.
The Benin City club finished in fifth position last season with 55 points, missing out on a place on the continent.
The players resumed pre-season training on Wednesday, with the club already setting a top-three finish as its minimum target.
Boboye challenged his players to approach the new campaign with greater determination, consistency, and ambition.
”I welcome everyone back and thank God we are back without health issues. Work has started. No room for indiscipline. We must do better than we did last season,” Boboye charged the players.
The 2026/27 season will commence on Friday, 28 August.
