Champions League: All the teams that qualified for Round of 16, knockout play-offs

The group phase of this season’s Champions League was concluded on Wednesday night.

All the 18 matches were played simultaneously across Europe.

In the end, Arsenal confirmed top spot, with a 3-2 win over bottom side Kairat Almaty.

Bayern Munich beat PSV to finish in second place.

The other six teams that earned automatic spots in the last 16 are: Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona, Chelsea, Sporting and Manchester City.

Clubs that finished between ninth and 24th will go into the knockout play-offs.

They are: Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Newcastle United, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Atalanta, Bayer Levekusen, Borussia Dortmund, Olympiacos, Club Brugge, Galatasaray, Monaco, Qarabag, Bodo/Glimt and Benfica.

The draw for the play-offs will take place this Friday.
