World Cup: They play with heart – Thierry Henry names two players carrying England team
by Don Silas · Daily PostArsenal legend, Thierry Henry, has identified Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane as the two players carrying the England team.
Henry spoke on Fox Sports after England defeated Norway 2-1 in the World Cup quarter-final encounter on Saturday.
According to the former France striker, Bellingham and Kane play with their heart for the Three Lions.
“You saw the desire of Jude Bellingham,” Henry said.
“Bellingham scores, but Harry Kane, the amount of time he recovered the ball, he defended for everybody, he held the ball, he gained free-kicks, but you have two guys here who are almost, not almost… they are carrying England, they are.
“But the way they played, you have to give them that. A lot of people are lucky, but they are playing with heart, and you have to give them that. Well done, England,” he said.
