Serie A: AC Milan boss Amorim dismisses Chukwueze exit talk
by Mike Oyebola · Daily PostAC Milan manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed Samuel Chukwueze will stay at the club this summer, DAILY POST reports
Chukwueze spent the 2025/26 season on loan with Premier League club Fulham.
The 27-year-old registered three goals and four assists in 26 appearances across all competitions for the Whites.
The London club, however, turned down the chance to sign the winger on a permanent transfer after AC Milan refused to reduce their €24 million price tag.
Chukwueze has been linked with a move to Turkey, but Amorim insisted the Nigeria international will be part of his squad for next season.
“Chukwu is staying with us. We need players who can play one-on-one, literally. Saelemaekers can play on the left or right. Cissé and Comotto will start preseason with us, but after that I really have no idea what will happen,” Amorim told reporters.
“I think Chukwueze has truly great qualities to be in our team, and he gives us options to play in other systems.”
The exciting winger joined AC Milan from Spanish club Villarreal in 2023.
