EPL: Man Utd qualify for Champions League after Liverpool win

Manchester United mathematically confirmed Champions League qualification, thanks to a 3-2 win over Liverpool on Sunday.

The Red Devils had won the reverse fixture at Anfield with Harry Maguire scoring the winner.

United started the game on a bright note and took a two-goal lead through Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko.

Liverpool fought back after the break to level, with Dominik Szobozslai and Cody Gakpo scoring for Arne Slot’s side.

But Kobbie Mainoo, who put pen to paper on an improved contract this week, scored the winner for United.

The win takes them up to 64 points with three fixtures left.
