Turkey: Galatasaray told to sign Shomurodov immediately after Osimhen’s injury
by Don Silas · Daily PostA Spor commentator, Levent Tüzemen, has urged Galatasaray to sign Istanbul Başakşehir striker Eldor Shomurodov on loan immediately after Victor Osimhen sustained a groin injury.
Osimhen was injured during Galatasaray’s 3-2 win against Başakşehir in the Turkish Super Lig encounter on Friday.
The Nigerian international was unable to continue playing and was replaced by Barış Alper Yılmaz in the 33rd minute of the match.
“I’m telling the Galatasaray management, you have two hours until 12. You need a foreign striker to play in the Super League. Sign Shomurodov on loan immediately,” Tüzemen was quoted by Habersarikirmizi as saying.

“If Osimhen is out for five weeks, you can’t manage this with just Deniz Gül,” he added.
Galatasaray’s next match is against Sporting CP in the Champions League on Wednesday.
