by · Daily Post

Dangote Refinery has announced free premium motor spirit delivery to five states, including Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, at N1,075 per litre price.

The mega refinery disclosed this in a notice on X on Wednesday.

According to Dangote Refinery, its free petrol delivery is available to Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Kaduna, Delta States and the nation’s capital, Abuja.

The Lagos Lekki-based refinery pegged the minimum purchase of the scheme at 250,000 litres.

This comes days after Dangote Refinery stakeholders in the country’s oil downstream sector met on cost-reflective petrol pricing in Nigeria.

The meeting had attracted commitment from stakeholders to a further cut in petrol price.

Recall that Dangote Refinery had announced a fourth cut in its gantry price to N1,075 per litre.

The president of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, Abubakar Maigandi, said the retail fuel price had dropped by N125 per litre to between N1155 and N1299 per litre in the last three weeks.
