EPL table: Hull City go second after shock 2-0 win over Man Utd

by · Daily Post

Hull City returned to the Premier League with a stunning 2-0 victory over Manchester United on Saturday.

The Tigers are only in the English top flight after Southampton were thrown out of the play-offs for SpyGate.

But they began the game against the Red Devils in confident fashion, scoring twice from set-pieces in the first half.

Semi Ajayi and Nobel Mendy scored for Hull City as they recorded a famous win over United.

The result takes them up to second place behind Arsenal, who thrashed Coventry City 3-0 on Friday night.

Michael Carrick’s men host Ipswich Town next weekend.
