BREAKING: Wike’s ally, Sandy Onor emerges as PDP consensus presidential candidate

A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has declared Sandy Onor as its consensus presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.

Onor, an ally of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike was the 2023 Cross River State PDP’s governorship candidate.

Recently, Onor purchased his presidential nomination forms at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

He was the first aspirant to obtain the presidential nomination forms under the PDP.

Onor served as the senator representing Cross River Central Senatorial District from 2019 to 2023. He was elected in 2019 to represent Cross River Central Senatorial District in the 9th Assembly of the Senate.
