2026 World Cup: Lamine Yamal names team that France fears ahead of semi-final
by Ifreke Inyang · Daily PostSpain winger, Lamine Yamal, has claimed France are fearful of them ahead of the semi-final of the 2026 World Cup.
Yamal was speaking after a man-of-match display, as La Roja beat Belgium in their quarter-final clash on Froday evening.
Spain will now face France for a place in the final.
Led by captain, Kylian Mbappe, Les Bleus have won all their games at the tournament within regulation time.
But Spain have beaten Didier Deschamps’ men twice in a row.
“I think that if France has to fear anyone, it’s us,” Yamal said.
“We’re the ones who have knocked them out before.”
