The decision was reached during an enlarged stakeholders’ meeting presided over by the state party leader and Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.

For the Senate, the party adopted Mohammed Ahmadu Deba for Gombe Central, Jerry Damara for Gombe South, and Governor Inuwa Yahaya for Gombe North.
