Club World Cup final: Maresca confirms Chelsea’s team news ahead of PSG clash
by Don Silas · Daily PostChelsea manager, Enzo Maresca has confirmed his side’s team news ahead of their FIFA Club World Cup final with Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday night at the MetLife Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Maresca spoke about his squad, insisting that his players are ready to take on PSG in the final.
The former Leicester City coach also talked about midfielder Moises Caicedo and forward Joao Pedro’s chances of playing in the starting XI.
“Moises is an important player for us. He participated in the session this morning and I hope we can have him on Sunday,” Maresca said via Chelsea’s website.
“Joao is very good in small spaces, has great quality. We will see who is going to play.”
He added “When you start [the competition] with thirty-two teams, and you’re lucky to be here at the end with just two teams, Chelsea players are proud and happy.
“I’ve the feeling we’re ready to play this final on Sunday.”
