Transfer: Bruno Guimaraes agrees deal with Arsenal

Newcastle captain, Bruno Guimaraes, has agreed terms on a five-year contract with Arsenal.

According to L’Equipe, Guimaraes remains adamant about joining the Premier League champions this summer.

The Brazil international is now waiting on Newcastle to reach an agreement with Arsenal.

The Gunners have seen an initial offer around €70million rejected by their rivals.

They are expected to return with a bid around €80million for Guimaraes.

If that offer is accepted, Lyon would set to receive €6million, as they had inserted a sell-on clause when they sold him to Newcastle.

Arsenal have already wrapped up deals to sign Piero Hincapie and Illan Meslier so far.
