EPL: It’s right time to leave Man City – Guardiola reveals next move

Departing Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said it is the right time to leave the Premier League club.

Guardiola took charge of his final game on Sunday, a 2-1 home defeat to Aston Villa in the Premier Leagye.

The 55-year-old has now insisted he will take time to rest and focus on his famly.

The Spaniard also thanked City’s hierarchy for understanding his decision to depart after 10 years.

Guardiola said: “It is the right time. I will not miss it for a while, that’s for sure.

“I feel deeply that the decision is the right decision for this club and the players. I thank the club for respecting it, they understood.”

During the decade he spent at the Etihad, Guardiola won six Premier League titles, one Champions League three FA Cups, and five League Cups.
