by · Daily Post

Brazilian legend Cafu has named the country to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup after his country’s elimination from the tournament.

Recall that Brazil was recently eliminated from the World Cup after losing against Norway in the Round of 16.

Erling Haaland’s brace ensured Brazil lost 2-1 as Neymar’s goal was not enough.

According to a report by AS, Cafu initially believed Brazil would win the World Cup, but after Carlo Ancelotti’s side was eliminated by Norway, his favourite to win the tournament became Colombia.

When asked by reporters who would win the 2026 World Cup, the former AC Milan defender replied, “Colombia.”

“The Colombian team is currently performing strongly on the field, but their next opponent, Switzerland, should not be underestimated.”
