by · Daily Post

Falconets head coach, Moses Aduku has reacted to his side’s 0-0 draw against China, DAILY POST reports.

The West Africans delivered a much-improved performance to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat to Spain in their opening game.

China twice hit the crossbar – first through Li Chenyu after just 82 seconds and then from Xue Sifan, early in the second half.

Benfica striker, Seimeyeha Janet Akekoromowei troubled the Chinese defence but the Falconets were unable to get the decisive goal.

The draw kept alive Nigeria’s hopes of reaching the knockout round.

Aduku expressed satisfaction with his players performance despite their failure to secure maximum points.

“The honest truth is that we came to win, but I think China also showed some resilience in the game,”Aduku was quoted by FIFA.com.

” It was not a bad game for both sides, but the little chances we created, we could not take them again.”
