Serie A: Chukwueze scoops MOTM in AC Milan’s win over Torino

by · Daily Post

Samuel Chukwueze picked up the Man of the Match award following AC Milan’s 2-1 victory over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico Grande on Sunday night.

Chukwueze, who was deployed in a wing-back role by manager, Ruben Amorim, provided the assist for Adrien Rabiot’s second goal in the 67th minute.

The Nigeria international created the most chances (four) and had the joint-most touches in the opposition box (nine) in the game.

Torino struggled whenever he accelerated, especially during Milan’s strong first-half attacks down his flank.

Chukwueze has enjoyed an impressive start to life after returning to the club following his loan stint with Fulham in the Premier League last season.

The 27-year-old will hope to replicate the same performance when Milan welcome Venezia in their next league game at the San Siro.
