by · Daily Post

Paul Onuachu made an instant impact on his return from Africa Cup of Nations duty as Trabzonspor defeated Kasimpasa 2-1 at Papara Park on Friday night.

Onuachu, who was named among the substitutes by Trabzonspor, replaced his compatriot Kazeem Olaigbe after the break.

The 31-year-old gave the hosts the lead in the 51st minute.

It was the striker’s 12th goal of the season for the Black Sea Storm.

Onuachu’s celebration, however, earned him a yellow card.

Malian forward Fousseni Diabaté restored parity for Kasimpasa 10 minutes later.

Anthony Nwakaeme set up Oleksandr Zubkov for Trabzonspor’s winning goal six minutes from time.
