FCT: I’ve funds for projects because Tinubu removed us from TSA – Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Wednesday, said the removal of the FCT Administration from the Treasury Single Account, TSA, has made funds available for the execution of projects.

Wike commended President Bola Tinubu for this feat which he described as beneficial to the FCTA under his leadership.

The minister spoke during the commissioning of the newly constructed road linking Body of Benchers to two private universities

in Abuja to mark Tinubu’s third year anniversary.

According to Wike, the FCTA has so many projects to commission due to the removal from the TSA.

He said: “Today we are here to see that we commission this project, the other day we were also here to commission the annex at the body of benchers.

“Your Excellency we thank you for your support and resources made available by removing us from the TSA and that is why Today we are having so many projects to be commissioned.”

Wike also assured that every district and satellite towns of the FCT would feel his administration’s infrastructural drive.

“Like we have said before that every district would have attention of the present government and we have gone round so many of the districts and satellite towns that make up the city,” he added.
