2027: Future brighter if you support Tinubu – Akpabio to Nigerians
by Seun Opejobi · Daily PostThe President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, on Thursday assured that the future is brighter for Nigerians if they support President Bola Tinubu beyond 2027.
Akpabio made the remark while noting that Nigeria is no longer a mono-economy dependent on oil due to Tinubu’s thinking.
He spoke during the inauguration of the National Executive members of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement in Abuja.
Akpabio noted that Tinubu’s leadership has made it possible that states no longer borrow.
He said: “Now they shared over 2 trillion a month to States of the federation and the governors here can confirm, especially Kefas and Dauda.
“All of them can confirm that they don’t borrow money because we have built a non-oil economy.
“We are no longer a mono-economy dependent on oil, thanks to the thinking of Mr. President.
“So you can imagine supporting him beyond 2027, I can see the future brighter, I can see everything turning around for our good and Nigeria.”
