Osun election: ‘I bought no one, stood alone’ – Davido

Taking to his verified X handle on Monday, Davido said he did not buy anybody for the election, maintaining that he stood alone.

According to him, Nigerian politics is evil, stressing that he would not be part of it until it gets better.
“I brought no one. No one defended me. I backed my family on my own. I have done my job.
“Nigerian politics is evil and I don’t want to be a part of it till God helps us,” he tweeted.
DAILY POST reports that the incumbent governor, Ademola Adeleke, Davido’s uncle, won the election for a second term after defeating his closest rival, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Oyebamiji.
Adeleke won the election after polling 511,067 votes against Oyebamiji, who polled 444,815 votes.
