Nigeria vs Morocco: No matter what they throw at you – Kanu makes demand from Super Eagles
by Don Silas · Daily PostArsenal legend, Nwankwo Kanu has urged the Super Eagles of Nigeria to beat Morocco no matter what the Atlas Lions throw at them in tonight’s AFCON tie.
Nigeria will face the 2025 AFCON host Morocco in the last-4 tie at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.
Both teams won their last AFCON fixtures against Algeria and Cameroon in the quarter-final stage.
However, in a video post via his X account before the match, Kanu also urged Nigerians to come out en masse and support Eric Chelle’s side to victory.
“It’s all about the Super Eagles now, let’s all come out to support them, encourage them and pray for them,” Kanu said.
“We wish them all the best. The boys are ready, and we are proud of them. They can go all the way to the finals.
“They can do it. Super Eagles players, give everything, you have been doing that from day one, and this is a very important one to be in the final
“So no matter what they throw at you, what we need is to win, and we are going to win by God’s grace. Make us proud by winning this game; God bless you.”
