Champions League: How Galatasaray should approach Barcelona – Osimhen

Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, has revealed how his team should approach their UEFA Champions League clash against Barcelona on Tuesday at Rams Park.

Osimhen spoke after Galatasaray defeated Kasımpaşa 3-1 in a Turkish Super Lig encounter on Friday.

The Nigerian international said Galatasaray should face Hansi Flick’s side with seriousness and apply pressure in the front area.

“When you are playing against a team with such quality players, you have to play with both excitement and seriousness; you need to apply pressure in the front area,” Osimhen told HT Spor.

“They possess the ball a lot, so in a match like this, you need to show some resistance.

“We are ready, and whatever the result may be from that game, we will face it head-on.”

Barcelona defeated Galatasaray 2-1 in the UEFA Europa League when both teams last met in 2022.
