Democrats release suggestive birthday letter allegedly sent by Trump to Jeffrey Epstein

DEMOCRATS IN THE US have released a sexually suggestive letter that US President Donald Trump allegedly sent to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday.
Trump has said he did not write the letter or create the drawing of a naked woman that surrounds the text.
In July, he filed a $10 billion (€8.5 billion) lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal for a report on the alleged letter.
It was allegedly included as part of a 2003 album compiled for Epstein’s birthday by his then-girlfriend, convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee received a copy of the birthday album today as part of a batch of documents from Epstein’s estate.
Democrats on the panel published the copy of the Trump letter before the entire book was released, prompting accusations from Republican chairman James Comer of “cherry-picking documents and politicizing information.”
The letter released by the committee looks exactly as described by the The Wall Street Journal in its report.
The letter, which bears what the Democrats claim is Trump’s signature, includes text framed by a hand-drawn outline of what appears to be a naked woman.

“A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret,” the message on the letter reads.
Another letter in the book also mentions Trump, with a photo of Epstein holding an oversized $22,500 check. The signature on the check says “DJ Trump” but is very different from Trump’s normal writing.
“Jeffrey showing early talents with money + women! Sells ‘fully depreciated’ [redacted name] to Donald Trump,” reads the note.
It also once again puts a spotlight on Trump’s former friendship with Epstein, which the president has said ended two decades ago after a falling-out.
Trump said recently that he cut ties with Epstein because he “stole” young women — including Virginia Giuffre, who was among Epstein’s most well-known sex trafficking accusers — who worked for the spa at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
In a statement on X, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said “it’s very clear President Trump did not draw this picture, and he did not sign it”.
She said the story about the lewd note was “false” and that Trump’s legal team would “continue to aggressively pursue litigation” against the Wall Street Journal.
Trump has repeatedly denied writing the letter and creating the drawing, calling a report on it “false, malicious, and defamatory”.
“These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don’t draw pictures,” Trump said.
The release of the image by the Democrats comes amid a continued row over the alleged ‘Epstein files’.

The Trump administration has denied the existence of any list, with Trump himself deeming the affair a hoax by the Democrats.
In July, the US Justice Department and FBI said in a memo that there is no evidence that Epstein kept a “client list” or was blackmailing powerful people.
This was repeated by Ghislaine Maxwell when she was questioned at length by US Justice Department officials last month.
Asked about a rumoured “black book” or “client list” Epstein reportedly kept of famous people he knew, the former British socialite said “there is no list”, adding “there is nothing like that”.
