The world of Severance came to life in New York City this week as the cast of the acclaimed Apple TV+ series transformed Grand Central Station into a Lumon Industries pop-up. Stars Adam Scott, Britt Lower, and Zach Cherry appeared in character for a unique performance art event, offering passerby’s an immersive taste of the show’s mysterious corporate setting.

The actors engaged in mundane office tasks — vacuuming carpets and working on Lumon’s computers — within a replica of the show’s iconic cubicle space.

The performance lasted several minutes, drawing attention from commuters and fans alike. Producer-director Ben Stiller captured the event on social media, sharing behind-the-scenes moments with the caption, “Grand Central right now.”

The marketing event cleverly mirrored Severance’s themes of privacy, identity, and surveillance, with fans documenting the performance on their phones.

The timing of the pop-up coincides with the highly anticipated premiere of Severance season two, set to debut on Friday. The first season ended with a dramatic cliffhanger as Mark S. and his colleagues uncovered unsettling truths about their lives outside Lumon.

In addition to Scott, Lower, and Cherry, the series features an ensemble cast including John Turturro, Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken, and others. New faces joining the show in season two include Sarah Bock and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson.
