‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’ trailer: Jeet takes on Prosenjit and Saswata in this intense political crime-thriller

Netflix on Wednesday unveiled the trailer ofKhakee: The Bengal Chapter, the latest installment in the Khakee franchise. Produced by Friday Storytellers and created by Neeraj Pandey, and directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray, the series premieres on March 20.

In the trailer, we see a political storm brew surrounding a political leader’s association with a gangster. Featuring some bloody kills, intense action scenes, and a lot of drama, the trailer promises an intricate political thriller with lots of twists and turns.

“In the early 2000s, when gangsters and politicians commanded unchallenged authority, IPS Arjun Maitra emerged as a catalyst for change. Fearless and unwavering, this upright officer was determined to carve a path of justice amidst the treacherous world of political intrigue, gang warfare, and shifting allegiances. Will he succeed in challenging the status quo, and restoring order?” reads the plotline.

The star-studded cast of Khakee: The Bengal Chapter features some of Bengali cinema’s finest, including Jeet Madnani, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee and Parambrata Chatterjee. Also part of the cast are Ritwik Bhowmik, Aadil Zafar Khan, Chitrangada Singh, Pooja Chopra, Aakanksha Singh, Mimoh Chakraborty and Shraddha Das.

Both the directors, Tusshar and Debatma, along with the entire crew, have worked tirelessly to bring this narrative to life and we hope that it will captivate the audiences.“
