Nothing Phone 3a Pro and Phone 3a launched in India: Features, pricing and sale details

They operate on Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15 out of the box. Nothing will provide 3 OS and 4 years of security updates

Nothing on Tuesday (March 4, 2025) launched Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro in India. The new Phone 3a series offers transparent back design and succeeds the Phone 2a series launched last year.

The London-based tech start up added AI features in Phone 3a series and also introduced a new hardware feature called the Essential Key, on the right panel, to trigger recording, click images and much more. When pressed, it takes you to an AI-hub known as Essential Space.

In terms of design, both Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro feature a 6.77 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits of peak brightness.

The phones are IP64 rated as well.

Both, Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The Phone 3a will get up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage while the Phone 3a Pro gets up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

They operate on Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15 out of the box. Nothing will provide 3 OS and 4 years of security updates.

Similarly, both the phones ship with a 5,000 mAh battery supported by 50 W wired charging. Charger is not included with the phones.

The difference between both the phones lies in optical department.

Phone 3a features a 50 MP main Samsung lens with EIS and OIS along with a 50 MP Samsung telephoto camera with 2x optical and 4x in-sensor zoom, and an 8 MP Sony ultrawide camera. It has a 32 MP front camera.

Meanwhile, Phone 3a Pro uses a 50 MP main Samsung sensor with OIS and EIS, a 50 MP Sony Lyt 600 periscope camera with 3x optical and 6x in-sensor zoom, and an 8 MP Sony ultrawide lens. However, it sports a 50 MP selfie camera.

Nothing Phone 3a starts at ₹24,999 for the 8 GB/128 GB variant whereas the Phone 3a Pro begins at ₹29,999 for the 8 GB/128 model.

The Phone 3a comes in Black, White, and Blue colours, while the Phone 3a Pro in Grey and Black shades. They will sell on Flipkart, Vijay Sales, Croma and at retail stores starting March 11.
