Sunny Deol-starrer ‘Jaat’ earns over ₹100 crore at worldwide box office

‘Jaat’, directed by Telugu filmmaker Gopichand Malineni, revolves around an Andhra Village plagued by injustice and brutality

Jaat, featuring Sunny Deol, collected 102.13 crore at the worldwide box office, the makers announced on Monday. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. It had a theatrical release on April 10.

Mythri Movie Makers shared the box office update on its X handle.

"The celebration of mass commercial cinema. A feast for the Single Screens continues. #JAAT collects 102.13 CRORES GROSS WORLDWIDE," read the caption.

Jaat, directed by Telugu filmmaker Gopichand Malineni, revolves around an Andhra Village plagued by injustice and brutality. One day, an outsider, who calls himself Jaat, discovers the sorry state of affairs and decides to take on the system.

The movie also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Regina Cassandra and Saiyami Kher in prominent roles. Jaat raked up close to ₹60 crore in its first week in India. Recently, the makers announced a sequel to the movie.
