Who won Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight? Full card results including Katie Taylor controversy
by Shane Ireland · Manchester Evening NewsAfter months of waiting, Mike Tyson and Jake Paul finally go head-to-head in the ring at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The two will finally touch gloves, six months after their initial fight was postponed due to receiving medical attention for an ulcer flareup.
Paul faces his biggest challenge since making the transition from the YouTube scene into the boxing ring. The 27-year-old has already stepped foot into the ring with a host of UFC icons, such as Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley, but suffered the only loss of his career to Tommy 'TNT' Fury.
The veteran heavyweight champion is returning for his first professional outing for almost 20 years and his first fight in four. But 'Iron Mike' is the outsider due to being double his opponents age, despite his record during his illustrious career.

Main Card
Jake Paul bt Mike Tyson - UD
Jake Paul was unable to deliver a knockout against Mike Tyson, as the social media star went the full distance with the comebacking heavyweight icon. Despite Paul's bold claim that he would "kill" Tyson in the ring, he found it challenging to connect effectively, although he did win every round on two of the three judges' scorecards.
Discontent grew among spectators, with boos echoing from the halfway mark and numerous fans exiting the arena before the fight's outcome was announced.
Katie Taylor bt Amanda Serrano - UD
Despite a point deduction, Katie Taylor triumphed over Amanda Serrano in their rematch. The Irish boxer received the deduction in the eighth round following a head clash, which came after a similar incident had caused a cut to the challenger's right eye.
The 38-year-old's unanimous decision victory was met with boos from the Arlington audience, as Taylor expressed her desire for a trilogy.
Mario Barrios draw vs Abel Ramos - SD - (Barrios retains title)
Mario Barrios was expected to have an easy world title defence against Abel Ramos, a man who had lost three of his last five fights. However, after facing difficulties in the initial rounds, Ramos managed to knock down the champion in the sixth round with consecutive right hands.
Barrios survived till the end of the round, leading to a seesaw second half of the fight. One judge favoured Ramos by one round, another absurdly gave Barrios a six-round lead, while the final judge declared the match a draw.
Neeraj Goyat bt Whindersson Nunes - UD
A rather unusual bout took place between a seasoned professional - albeit one with an inflated record - and a Brazilian social media sensation who had been competing on the influencer boxing circuit. The six-round fight was as lopsided as the fighters' records suggested, with Goyat dominating throughout.
By the fifth round, both men had dropped their defences. However, neither had the power to inflict significant damage, leading to the fight being decided by the scorecards.
The judges scored the match 59-55, 60-54 and 60-54.
Prelims
Shadasia Green bt Melinda Watpool - SD
Shadasia Green clinched the world champion title on her second attempt, narrowly defeating Melinda Watpool. Despite Watpool's willingness to engage throughout the match, it was Green who delivered more power punches, leading to a split-decision victory.
The judges' final scores for the bout were 97-93, 96-94, 94-96.
Lucas Bahdi bt Armando Casamonica - MD
Lucas Bahdi entered this fight following a spectacular KO of Ashton Sylve earlier this year, while Armando Casamonica stepped in as a late replacement after Corey Marksman withdrew due to injury. After an initial period of sizing each other up, it was Bahdi who seized control of the match.
Despite coming in overweight - understandable given the last-minute nature of his participation - Casamonica didn't appear fatigued as the fight moved into its second half. He impressively took the fight to Badhi in the final stages.
Both fighters knew they needed a strong final round, but ultimately, it was Bahdi who was awarded the victory by majority decision.
Bruce Carrington bt Dana Coolwell - UD
Promising featherweight contender Bruce Carrington pledged to demonstrate his high regard as he faced Australia's Dana Coolwell. The New Yorker aimed to secure a double victory for Brooklyn natives on the card, alongside Mike Tyson.
After a cautious start to the fight, Carrington started to dominate, knocking down Coolwell in the fourth round. He repeated this feat in the final round, but Coolwell managed to beat the count both times.
Ultimately, Carrington had to be content with a points victory, with all judges awarding him every round, resulting in a unanimous 80-70 score.
