ITV’s I’m A Celebrity fans think they’re spotted what's next in store for Dean McCullough after Tuesday night’s show. The third episode of the 2024 series aired on Tuesday night as a brand new batch of celebrities got used to life in the jungle.

Once again they must participate in bushtucker trolls to win stars for camp, and ultimately secure food for their fellow campmates. During Tuesday’s episode it was the turn of Dean to face the second trial of the series, ‘The Sinister Sarcophagus’.

The trial involved being locked inside a giant mummy figuring and having to answer a series of Egypt-related questions. For each one he answered correctly, a star would be lowered down which he then had to release with his mouth.

Dean told Ant and Dec before the trial: “You’re so extra this series, so extra!’ before adding: “I went to Egypt years ago, but I wasn’t paying attention.”

Entering the sarcophagus, he said: “This is my worst nightmare because I can’t get out.” Dean managed to answer two questions, and managed to secure two stars, but it all got too much for him when giant mealworms and crickets were poured over his head. He then called out: “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!”

Fans were quick to point out on X that this now means he could be voted for more trials in the future. @realmrmwp said: “Dean has just nominated himself for every ‘confined space’ trial.”

@SaraBtweet3 added: “Oh they will see you tomorrow Dean. You’ve just got yourself voted for every trial now

@paulpc21 posted:”Dean says ‘I’m a celebrity, get me out of here’, knowing that instantly, it gets him in EVERY trial upcoming. The desperation for air time is cringe” @Sibsie wrote: “And just like that Dean’s got himself voted for every trial”

@JRT0809 added:”Dean McCullough is 100% doing every trial now” and @CovenOfCA0S said: “Dean just nominated himself for every future trial to come”. For some viewers it meant that the series was starting to get into full swing; @GavinBu24385771 wrote: “So here’s Dean getting voted for every trial, the camp starving, the drama beginning.“
