The BBC has confirmed that the adrenaline-fuelled quiz show The Finish Line will be back on the air next month for a six-week run.

Broadcasting on weekdays, the third installment of the hit series welcomes back Roman Kemp as he puts contestants through a fast-paced mix of racing and trivia, with Sarah Greene returning to co-host alongside him.

Produced by Potato, an award-winning sector of ITV Studios, the series promises to deliver intense competition and brain-teasing challenges.

Thrilled about the show's return, Roman Kemp, 32, enthused: "I'm absolutely buzzing that The Finish Line is back for another series! There are some seriously tense moments, and when the pressure's on, you never know what's going to happen!"

"Sarah and I had a blast filming, and I can't wait for everyone to see all the excitement, drama, and surprises this series has in store", reports the Express.

Adding to the anticipation, Sarah, 67, shared her delight: "I couldn't be more thrilled to be back on air with Roman for a third series of The Finish Line!

Describing the upcoming series, she added: "The speed, suspense and surprises are all there and it's even bolder and brighter than before. A fully supercharged quiz for our fabulously supercharged contestants."

The premise of each episode remains thrillingly simple yet challenging: contestants must race against time and each other in a flurry of initial qualifiers and head-to-head battles, all vying for an impressive cash prize. In this game, swift answers and staying ahead of the competition are key to achieving victory at the finish line.
