BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Tasha Ghouri sparks worry after revealing adorable bond viewers don't see

Tasha Ghouri has sparked worry over her upcoming Strictly Come Dancing appearance as she appears to be a little bit under the weather.

The former Love Island star is currently preparing to return to the ballroom on Saturday night (October 5) alongside Aljaz Skorjanec after they made it through to week three of the BBC One dance contest, which is also the first special of the series with it being Movie Week.

And the pair will be hoping to continue their success on the dance floor after last weekend when they topped the leaderboard with a score of 35 after their Viennese Waltz to Misty Blue by Dorothy Moore.

Tasha and Aljaz, who returned to Strictly this year following a two-year hiatus, are now preparing for their next performance which will be a Rumba to What Was I Made For? from the most recent Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie.

Speaking about the upcoming routine on It Takes Two on Wednesday night (October 2), Tasha said: "This is a whole different side [to Barbie]," Tasha teased. "It isn't going to be the one that everyone is expecting."

She added: "It's about the real side of her. She's lonely in this dance, and Ken is there to help her through it. It's a really vulnerable rumba, it's soft."

But on Thursday morning (October 3), as Tasha prepared for another day of training with Aljaz, the reality star seemingly admitted things aren't all well and good as she's been hit by a cold. Sharing a picture of her holding onto a box of cold and flu and said: "It's that time of the year," alongside a single tear emoji.

Meanwhile, Tasha has been opening up about her relationship with Aljaz's wife, Janette Manrara, who is also the host of Strictly's spin-off show It Takes Two.

Taking part in an Instagram Q&A with her followers, Tasha was asked: "How fun are double dates with Aljaz and Janette," referring to Tasha also being joined by her boyfriend Andrew Le Page. She responded: "LOVE THEM and can't wait to see Janette and Lyra soon." She then revealed: "Last week when my dad was here we spent hours just chatting away and it was the cutest time."

It comes after Tasha explained her emotional reaction to having her dad Tarek in the audience during the most recent live show, sharing that being on Strictly is a dream come true for her entire family.

"This has been his dream as well, not just mine, but my whole family's," Tasha said, adding that her dad told her he was "so proud" of her afterwards. For him to be able to see me doing the biggest dream show I've always wanted to do, that's a huge feeling for him," she continued.

She also shared she couldn't look at her dad tearing up after she finished dancing. "Because If I'd looked at him, I would have started going as well," she said. "I saw him and thought, 'No, I can't look at you or I will start bawling my eyes out'."
