Four BBC Strictly Come Dancing stars 'at risk' named amid first Icons Week
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsFour Strictly Come Dancing contestants have been named as being 'at risk' as a new special weeks takes place in week seven of the hit dance show.
We're now over halfway through the BBC One dance contest's 2024 run and on Saturday night (November 2) the remaining 10 couples will take to the floor inspired by some of music's biggest stars for the first-ever 'Icons Week'.
And continuing the celebration of music “icons”, the professional dancers will perform a Beyonce medley with Johannes Radebe channelling the singer’s alter-ego, Sasha Fierce, during the next results show on Sunday night (November 3).

But back to the latest live show and JLS star JB Gill and Lauren Oakley will perform a hip-hop-inspired couple’s choice routine to a Bruno Mars medley.
Dancer Lauren, who does not have a partner for this year's Strictly, has stepped in to perform with JB after a health scare following their last live performance forced his professional partner Amy Dowden to miss last Sunday's results programme.
Also on the show, comedian Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell will pay homage to rock band Kiss by dancing a tango to Rock And Rock All Nite.
Reality star Pete Wicks will turn into Freddie Mercury when he salsas to Queen song Another One Bites The Dust alongside Jowita Przystal, while Olympian Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe perform a waltz to I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston.

Meanwhile, honouring Anti-Hero singer Taylor Swift is former field hockey player Sam Quek and Nikita Kuzmin, who will dance an American smooth to Love Story. Miranda actress Sarah Hadland will channel Madonna in a cha cha to Like A Prayer, alongside her dance partner Vito Coppola, while Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec celebrate US singer Pink by dancing to their couple’s choice, What About Us.
Elsewhere, EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick and his partner Michelle Tsiakkas samba to George Michael song Faith, with singer Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu celebrating The Beatles with a quickstep to Help.
But ahead of their next performances, the bookies confirmed the four names who are in huge danger of the Strictly boot this weekend.
Shayne Ward continues to lead the way in the elimination betting at 6/4, but Wynne Evans (7/2), Sam Quek (4/1) and JB Gill (5/1) are all at risk of the boot, according to the latest odds.
Elsewhere, every other name is 10/1 or bigger to leave the show on Sunday, with Chris McCausland being the safest celeb in the building, at 150/1 for a shock departure.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Shayne Ward leads the way in the elimination betting after a shaky couple of performances, but four names are in huge danger of a shock exit this weekend, with Wynne, Sam and JB also being at risk."
