Katy Perry announces first UK tour in 7 years - full list of dates
by Dianne Bourne · Manchester Evening NewsPop superstar Katy Perry has announced her first UK tour dates in seven years with a surprise announcement on Monday. The American songstress took to her Instagram to show off her English accent to announce the news to fans.
She posted a video sat behind a wall of regal-looking plates as she flied a Union Jack to announce her "really big news". She said: "Top of the morning to ya babes, i've got really big news I'm bringing the Lifetimes Tour to the UK."
The string of dates will include a big return to Manchester, to the AO Arena in October 2025. Tickets will go on general sale on Friday, with a huge clamour from fans expected.

Katy, known for huge hits like Firework, Roar and I Kissed A Girl, has previously announced a string of worldwide dates on her ongoing Lifetimes Tour, including Australia and South America.
Now she will be heading back to UK turf next Autumn, with a string of arena dates in October 2025.
On returning to the UK for her first tour in over seven years Katy said, “I’m so incredibly chuffed to bring The Lifetimes Tour to the UK! I can’t wait to have a big sing along of all the songs you love and more! It’s going to be a giant dance party, and everyone’s invited!”
Katy has also announced today that £1 from EVERY ticket sold will be donated to Music Venue Trust, the UK charity which acts to protect, secure and improve UK grassroots music venues. Every £1 received from this scheme will go directly into initiatives to support the UK grassroots music community, bringing more great new music to more towns and cities.
“I’m proud to donate £1 from every ticket on the UK leg of The Lifetimes Tour to Music Venue Trust so that venues like Water Rats and Scala, where I played my first UK shows, can continue to usher in the next generation of music talent” says Katy.
“We want to say a huge thank you to Katy and her team for stepping up to support grassroots music venues, artists and promoters. The contribution from these shows will keep venues open, get new and emerging artists out on tour, and enable promoters to bring the best in new music to our communities” says Mark Davyd, CEO Music Venue Trust.

The general sale for the UK tour dates will go live on Friday November 22 at 10am. The main listed ticket seller announced is Ticketmaster here.

Presale information has been listed for customers with Three, from Wed 20th Nov at 10am.
The AO Arena has also announced it will have a pre-sale from Thursday November 21 at 10am, for details you are requested to sign up to its newsletters here.
Sheffield Utilita Arena has announced it will have a pre-sale via AEG from November 20 at 10am.
