ITV I'm A Celebrity fans 'obsessed' minutes into show as they spot star's 'iconic' move

Fans of ITV's I'm A Celebrity are 'obsessed' with one of this year's celebrity contestants as they spotted her 'iconic' move just minutes into the first episode of the new series.

Viewers tuned in to watch Ant and Dec's return to the Australian jungle as they welcomed a new batch of famous faces on Sunday night. As the opening credits rolled, fans spotted a 'genius' move from N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos.

The musician, who was a judge on the X Factor between 2011 and 2012, posed with her forearm on display, showing off a tattoo that reads: "The female boss". Tulisa fans immediately recognised the gesture, which she was often spotted doing during her appearances on the ITV talent show, and loved the nostalgia.

The Female Boss is the name of Tulisa's debut solo album which she released in 2012. She also released a fragrance and a clothing line under the same name, saying she wanted the name to be "a big brand".

Fans took to social media to discuss the call-back. "Obsessed with Tulisa still doing that arm tattoo thing in 2024," one person wrote.

Another said: "Tulisa bringing back the female boss. only the 2011 real ones know." A third added: "No cause why I just KNOW that Tulisa’s pose would be of her female boss tattoo."

A fourth said: "The gasp I let out seeing Tulisa do her signature arm gesture during the opening credits," while a fifth commented: "Tulisa doing the female boss signal in the I’m a celeb credits omg we won."

Fans struggled to contain their excitement, with one writing: "TULISA DOING THE ICONIC ARM RAISE IN THE OPENING THEME SHE IS SO BACK." Another said: "TULISA DOING HER X FACTOR POSE IN THE OPENING TITLES WAS GENIUS."

Fans are excited to see how the singer gets on in the jungle. One wrote: "I love love love Tulisa having meet her back in 2011 I know she’s lovely funny and I’m sure she’s going to bring fun and drama goo Tulisa!" Another added: "TULISA MY ICON SINCE CHILDHOOD I’VE ALWAYS LOVED YOU."

Tulisa was the second contestant to be shown arriving at the luxury hotel to meet Ant and Dec for the first challenge. The singer greeted Strictly dancer Oti Mabuse with a big hug before the pair were joined by BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough, Loose Women star Jane Moore and McFly star Danny Jones.

The celebrities were told to drink cocktails of blended bull penis and fish eyes, with a garnish made from vomit fruit, to determine the order in which they will skydive from helicopters with Oti complaining that “we dressed up to the nines for this”. Danny finished the drink first while Tulisa came second.
