Search continues to find missing man, 34, not seen for over two weeks as police 'concerned'

A major search is continuing to find a missing man who has not been seen for over two weeks. Shwana Rashid, 34, was last seen on September 20.

He was reported missing from his home in the Brooklyn Street area of Crewe on September 26 - but was last seen six days before. Police say they are becoming 'increasingly concerned' about him.

Shwana is described as 6ft 2ins, of proportionate build, with brown eyes and black hair. Although he was residing in Crewe, he has links to the Manchester, Liverpool and Skegness areas.

A major search is continuing - now in its ninth day - to find missing Shwana, with a public appeal launched to help trace him. Police have urged a direct appeal to Shwana, saying: "Let us know you are OK."

Detective Sergeant Robert Bushell said: “It has now been fifteen days since Shwana was last seen, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“We have been conducting a number of enquiries to locate him and would now like to appeal anyone who may have seen him since he was reported missing or has any other information on his whereabouts to get in touch with us.

“We would also like to appeal directly to Shwana to get in touch and to let us know you are OK, as your friends are growing increasingly concerned.”
