Stacey Solomon looks for support as she feels 'terrible' in emotional family update

Stacey Solomon was seemingly on the look out for some support and comfort from her fans as she admitted to feeling 'terrible'. The Loose Women star opened up to her loyal following about it being 'back to school' day with her children.

Fans of Stacey will know that she and her husband Joe Swash share three children together - Rex, five, Rose, three, and one-year-old Belle. Stacey also has two teenage sons Zachary and Leighton from previous relationships while former EastEnders star Joe also has a teen son, Harry, from a previous long-term relationship.

And the Sort Your Life Out host is often sharing honest insights into her and Joe's life together and her latest update was a tear-jerker for her as she admitted her young children were 'devastated'.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (November 5), she shared a picture of her car waiting outside the gates of her Essex home, named Pickle Cottage.

Alongside the photo posted to her six million followers on her Story, the 35-year-old wrote: "Everyone went back to school today. So four school runs done now time for work! Anyone else's kids get so sad to go back to school? Mine were devastated this morning. They usually love school but we had such a lovely week at home. I felt terrible dropping them off this morning."

It comes after Stacey recently hailed the 'wonderful blessing' she and her family received. She took to social media and shared a number of snaps which showed her wrapped up warm for some time in her sprawling garden with the Solomon-Swash's feathered family members - their four ducks, Daisy, Delilah, Daphne and Delphine.

In the string of selfies, the mum-of-five could be seen snuggled up with Daisy as she covered up in a roll neck grey jumper and had her hood up on her khaki green coat.

Alongside the post, she wrote to her six million followers: "Daisy & Me. I’m sorry but these are just my favourite selfies ever. Did you even know ducks can smile? daisy is 100% posing! She’s smiling with her teeth in the second one. I can’t believe how cuddly & loveable these beautiful girls are."

It's then that Stacey added: "The ducks have been such a wonderful blessing to our family. I just love them so much. Happy Sunday everyone I hope these make you smile as much as they did me xx."

It comes after Stacey recently launched her final fashion range. For several years, Stacey has been creating her own ranges with the Manchester-based online retailer In The Style and her first collection was released back in 2021. But she confirmed her latest clothing drop with the company is her 'last ever', explaining at the time: "A few things have happened over this year and for us as a family it just feels right for me to let go and focus a bit more of myself on our family."

She added: "It won't just be In The Style, I have been re-thinking lots of things. I feel so lucky and grateful to have been able to live our what I can only describe as my wildest dreams, and that's such a huge privilege, one I'll never take for granted and certainly never forget. But it's time for a change and a new focus."
