Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight result decided as Carl Froch and George Groves make same point
by Will Evans · Manchester Evening NewsMike Tyson returns to the boxing ring tonight in his first professional fight in two decades against Jake Paul.
The 58-year-old was originally scheduled to face Paul in July but the clash had to be postponed due to an injury sustained by Tyson. The pair will now meet in Texas overnight (UK time).
Paul is expected to be in much better shape than his opponent, but Tyson's experience and ability to produce a knockout blow can't be underestimated, still. It's a hard one to predict but former boxers Tony Bellew, Carl Froch and George Groves have given their views courtesy of Safest Casino Sites.

Tony Bellew
Jake Paul has come in for plenty of criticism ahead of his fight with Mike Tyson and Tony Bellew stuck the boot in once again, calling the match a truly frightening prospect;
"Mike Tyson's a granddad. He's 58-years-old. He's closing in on 60 and he's fighting a man who isn't even half his age. The Disney Boy is just attacking granddads now. It's truly frightening.
"If somebody could show me a crystal ball and they said Mike Tyson's going to knock Jake Paul clean out, then I'm watching it 100 per cent. But you can't give me that kind of guarantee .and there will be nothing more sad than to see Mike Tyson get pummelled."
Carl Froch
Carl Froch reckons the fight will be more of an exhibition than a true contest, claiming he's heard that a stipulation in the contract means knockouts will be off the cards;
"Depends what it says in the contract, doesn't it? Allegedly, there's a clause in there that says [Tyson] can't go for it (a knockout), so we'll see won't we. I don't think it should be a professional boxing match.
"From what I know from Mike Tyson and Jake Paul both have a pair of t******* each, so that makes it a man's bout, which should be three minutes. And if it's going to be sanctioned as a professional fight, it should be three-minute rounds.
"Wouldn't it be f**king great though, if Mike Tyson got in there and landed a shot. That's what people surely want? They want to see Jake Paul get ironed out by an old Mike Tyson. I don't want to contradict myself, because I've said before I disagree with it, which I still do. But actually, on reflection, thinking about it, it's just a bit of entertainment, isn't it?"
George Groves
When asked if Mike Tyson may consider wrestling his opponent out of the ring to save face if he doesn't KO Jake Paul in the early rounds, George Groves responded;
"Over the top ropes, yeah, possibly... who knows? If you look back at Tyson's fights, it was always just, quick start, pedal to the metal, boom. He was never in it for the points win, was he? So why would he change now? He must know that he's dangerous early and probably isn't backing himself down the stretch.
"Who knows what sort of training Tyson 's doing. Six hours a day, whatever, is that beneficial to him or not? Is that the truth or not? It takes a bit longer to recover the older you get. If he's in the gym grafting for six hours a day, it's not really giving him a lot of time to recover. That might just be a little nugget for us to sort of digest.
"I think it's got to be a tough man [to train Tyson] and guys from the mixed martial arts backgrounds usually have very clever, old-school and unconventional methods - and they're usually tough guys so I can imagine that's what Tyson's leant into."
