My Live With the Walter Boys confirms huge casting update as season 2 coming ‘very soon’

The smash-hit Netflix series My Life With the Walter Boys has added several new cast members ahead of season two arriving very soon

My Life With the Walter Boys will welcome five new faces to Silver Falls, Colorado when the Netflix series returns.

The small-town teen drama became a massive hit for the streamer when it dropped last December, with millions of fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter in Jackie Howard’s (played by Nikki Rodriguez) adventures.

Jackie’s story begins when her parents are tragically killed in a car accident and she moves to Silver Falls, Colorado, where she’s taken in by the Walters, a family with seven sons and one daughter.

She soon finds herself at the centre of a love triangle with two of the brothers, former quarterback Cole (Noah LaLonde) and nerdy Alex (Ashby Gentry).

Season one concluded with a bombshell twist that sees Jackie moving back to New York, but not before sharing a passionate kiss with Cole.

Details for season two are being kept under wraps for now, but it’s assumed that Jackie will return to Silver Falls for more adventures with the Walters.

Expect more announcements soon, as TVLine has confirmed that the follow-up outing has now been filmed.

Season two will introduce Natalie Sharp of The Flash fame as B. Hartford, “a champion rodeo rider who catches the eye of one of the Walter boys”.

Also joining is Carson MacCormac (Locke & Key) as Zach, “a commanding and a bit dangerous senior who attempts to get to know Nathan (Corey Fogelmanis)” and Jake Manley (The Order) as “Wylder Holt, a competitive force in bronc riding who crosses paths with Alex”.

Finally, Star Trek: Discovery’s Janet Kidder will portray Joanne Wagner, Grace’s mother, and Bel Air’s Riele Downs plays Maria, a “flirty girl” in Alex’s driving class.

A release date for the second season hasn’t been set, but as filming has recently concluded fans should expect My Life With the Walter Boys to return at some point in the first half of 2025.

As for what the story will entail, lead actress Nikki is confident Jackie will find her way back to the Walters at some point.

“Obviously Jackie would have to come back to Colorado but what makes her come back?” she told Teen Vogue earlier this year.

“I don't even know. I've thought about so many different options.”

Will another tragedy force Jackie to leave New York again? Or will she simply find the pull of Cole and Silver Falls irresistible?
