by Susan Knox · The MirrorAlesha Dixon has split from her partner of 18 years, Azuka Ononye.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 46, has reportedly told her close friends that things are over for her and Azuka, who is the proud father to their two young daughters, aged 11 and 6.
The brunette beauty has not been pictured with Azuka since March this year, and has reportedly told her pals that she and her partner of 18 years are 'more like friends' after their romantic connection appears to have dwindled.
In recent months, Alesha also appears to have been hiding her wedding hand in pictures. Despite never tying the knot with Azuka, Alesha previously referred to him as her 'husband'. The singer turned Britain's Got Talent star has been cleverly hiding her left hand in every Instagram snap in recent months.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Alesha’s been quietly telling people close to her that she believes their relationship is over and they’re going to separate.
“She and Azuka have been together almost two decades but their relationship has become more like a friendship.
“They’re devoted parents to their girls, who are 11 and six, and want to focus on keeping their relationship as amicable as possible for their sake.”
Alesha last shared a photo of herself with Azuka on her Instagram account in June - almost six months ago. The pair first met when Azuka was hired as a dancer for her tour.
The pair became friends right away, but Alesha initially played hard to get for about a year. Their relationship deepened when she broke her foot and Azuka showed his compassionate side by sleeping on the floor and looking after her. They share two daughters, Azura Sienna and Anaya Safiya, together.
The Mirror has reached out to Alesha's representatives for comment on this strory.
