ITV I'm A Celeb's GK Barry makes grim prediction as she shares biggest trial fears

GK Barry has previously predicted she will die if she has to undertake a trail on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The 25-year-old TikTok sensation - whose real name is Grace Keeling - hosts a podcast called Saving Grace which regularly features celebrity guests who she interviews. In a past episode, former The Only Way Is Essex star Ferne McCann, who participated in season 15 of I'm A Celeb back in 2015, sat down for a chat with the influencer.

And it was during this chat, that GK insisted she would be deceased if she had to undertake trials on the long-running ITV reality show. Sounding alarmed, she said: "If I got put in a coffin with a few rats and cockroaches, I would pass away. I genuinely think my body would go, 'nah, you're alright, just leave me here, bury me alive and be done with it.' There's no way."

Fans will soon discover how well the social media star performs as she is indeed one of the ten stars that have signed up to the 2024 season of I'm A Celeb - which starts on ITV tonight. She will join the likes of WAG Coleen Rooney, Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse, and McFly star Danny Jones to try and win the crown. Before entering the jungle, the star admitted the thought of enduring trials had been keeping her awake.

She confessed in a pre-show interview: “I haven’t slept in a month. I am scared of the Trials and I am genuinely scared of everything. The eating trial to me is the worst thing you can do to a human being. You also don’t know who you are going to click with either but hopefully after the first week, I will settle in nicely.”

Recalling her only time camping as a child, GK Barry then adds: “I did once sleep in a tent in the garden, but I went in after a few hours as it wasn’t very fun.” GK went on to admit she will miss her girlfriend and cat the most. She said: “When you are missing home and all you want is your comfort people, then that will be hard if they are not there. But my girlfriend is also very excited for me and thinks I will do really well.”

GK is in a relationship with footballer Ella Rutherford, who plays for Ipswich Town. She has frequently mentioned having a girlfriend but had kept her identity under wraps until this August, when Ella confirmed the relationship by posting a birthday message on her Instagram story, captioned: "Happy Birthday babe I love you more and more everyday."

Prior to that GK admitted that she was in a relationship with a woman and would "never go back to men" when she chatted to Young Filly on her podcast. She said: "I feel like I went very wrong with men. I don't like men anymore. I will never go back to a man. God forbid. Yeah, I just love it. I just love it. I feel like I've got spring in my step. I feel like I'm glowing. It's the lesbian glow. I've got it. And yeah, that's my life update."
