Strictly professional dancer Jowita Przystal has given her dance partner Pete Wicks a last minute reassurance ahead of their performance on Saturday's live show.

Former TOWIE star Pete has been worrying about dancing a rumba with his Polish pro dance partner and Jowita took to her Instagram Story to give a message to the reality star as he admits that he has been "overthinking" the routine. Holding her phone so that she could address her followers directly, while standing with Pete, Jowita said: "It's Friday which means we are in the studio again. Week go fast, huh? (Pete nods his head) You're speechless? He really likes his dance. He really loves rumba (Pete shakes his head) He absolutely love rumba. (Pete pretends to cry) He'll be okay."

Pete then affected an Eastern European accent to say: "I love it a rumba." He then added more solemnly: "I just want to be talking that we love the rumba week. I'm sorry everyone." Jowita looked to comfort Pete, saying: "I'm just thinking about you." Pete then admitted that he was worrying too much about his steps: "No, just don't worry, i'm just overthinking."

Jowita replied that she wanted him to just feel the routine., telling Pete: "That is the goal for tomorrow, we are not overthinking." Pete took up this rallying message and repeated: "No, not overthinking, we just do it."

Later in the day, as they left rehearsals at the Strictly studio, Jowita once again tried to boost Pete's confidence over the rumba with a simple message to her dance partner from the car park. She demonstrated what he needed to do, saying at the same time: "It's just a matter of a little wiggle here, a little wiggle there. All you have to do is get the right wiggle at the right time."

This comes as Pete refused to rule out a romance with Jowita after viewers commented about their chemistry as dance partners and evident fondness for each other. Speaking to his pal Olivia Attwood on her podcast, So Wrong It's Right, she probed Pete about his love life. She said: "Next thing I need to know, are you and your dance partner romantically involved?"

Pete burst out laughing but didn't shut the rumours down, simply telling the former Love Island star: "My God!" "You don't get awards by not asking the questions!" said Olivia. Skilfully steering the conversation away, Pete explained: "One of the biggest problems is my b*******."

Pete added: "Well I'm having to wear like Spanx ... because otherwise Shirley will end up with a couple of black eyes."
