by Anders Anglesey · The MirrorA major search is underway to find a missing 13-year-old boy as searchers have issued a warning to the public not to enter the river near where he vanished.
Mylo Capilla was last seen at about 9pm on Thursday at an area in Ingleby Barwick, known locally as "The Muddies." Cleveland Police, Cleveland Fire Brigade, North East Ambulance Service and Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team are all at the scene this morning.
Mylo's disappearance has caused great concern in the Ingleby community, but worried locals have been urged not to enter the water themselves and leave the search efforts to police and river specialists.

Police urge people to stay away from water
A Cleveland Police spokesperson told members of the public to stay away from entering any water.
The statement read: "While searches are ongoing, officers are reminding members of the public in the area to liaise with them directly and for their own safety not to enter any water.
"If you have information that will assist officers please call 101 quoting reference number 117649.."

Cleveland Police issue statement
Cleveland Police have issued a statement amid the huge operation to find Mylo.
A spokesperson added: "Officers are appealing for information that will help them find Mylo Capilla who has been reported missing.
"The 13-year-old boy was last seen at 9pm on Thursday 26 June at the "Muddies" on Ramsey Gardens in Ingleby Barwick.
"Mylo is believed to be wearing a dark t-shirt and dark bottoms."
