Fearne Cotton shares passionate kiss with TV director weeks after marriage split

Fearne Cotton appears to be moving on following her recent split from husband Jesse Wood after ten years of marriage as she was spotted kissing director Elliot Hegarty

It looks like former radio DJ and TV legend Fearne Cotton is moving on following her marriage split from Jesse Wood.

Back in December, the 43-year-old took to social media to share the shocking news that she and Jesse were separating after 10 years of marriage. Fearne, who shares two children, 11-year-old son Rex and eight-year-old daughter Honey with Jesse, said: "I feel really excited about what’s coming next" during a chat with wellness brand Ancient + Brave, with whom her hit podcast Happy Place has joined forces.

However, 11 weeks after announcing her marriage split, it seems as though Fearne may have found love again. The radio DJ was pictured kissing TV director Elliot Hegarty on a night out and her friends have reportedly said that Fearne has found happiness again with Elliot. According to The Sun, Fearne has been 'quietly dating' the director since January, and things are going well between them so far.

An insider has told the publication that Elliot, 53, ended his marriage on Boxing Day. His wife Laura, is mum to their three children. Two months after his marriage split, Elliot has been pictured sharing a passionate kiss with Fearne after they seemingly enjoyed a date night in Elliot in London’s Soho. The pair looked very comfortable with one another as they walked hand-in-hand before embracing for a kiss.

“Fearne and Elliot have known each other for a while. When their marriages ended their friendship developed into romance. They have been seeing each other since January. Her split with Jesse was incredibly difficult but Elliot seems to make her incredibly happy. Fearne is now introducing Elliot to friends and they’re pleased to see her smiling again," the source said. The Mirror has approached Fearne's representatives for comment.

Fearne and her ex-husband Jesse began dating over a decade ago in 2011. The couple, who were first introduced while out partying in Ibiza, met the same year Jesse split from his first wife, Tilly Wood after eight years of marriage.

Fearne posted a statement on Instagram to share the news with her fans and followers. The statement read: “It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been and always will be our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time.”

The former CBBC star tied the knot with guitarist Jesse in 2014 after three years of dating. They went on to welcome two children together while Jesse already shared two children, son Arthur, 22, and daughter Lola, 19 with his ex. Fearne has been a proud step-mother to both of his older children, regularly including them on her socials.
