Amazon has cut the price of its entire Fire TV Stick range in the Black Friday sale. This means shoppers looking to upgrade their TV with the popular streaming device can bag big savings on all models of the Fire Stick, from the Lite to 4K Max.

The biggest savings are with the Fire TV Stick 4K and 4K Max, which are both reduced by £25. The 4K Max – hailed as Amazon's 'most powerful' streaming stick – is now available for £44.99 down from £69.99, the cheapest its been since March, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel.

This model offers a mountain of entertainment on streaming apps like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and Apple TV+ and allows you to stream with 'lifelike' picture and sound in 4K Ultra HD. The gadget also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and immersive Dolby Atmos audio and provides access to millions of songs on music streamers like Amazon Music and Spotify and gaming with Amazon Luna.

The 4K Max also boasts 16GB of storage – twice the amount of other models – so there's twice as much room for apps and games and software updates. It can also be used hands-free with Alexa voice control, which – as well as asking it to find your favourite shows – can control compatible Amazon devices like smart cameras and lightbulbs.

With Wi-Fi 6E support and a compatible router, the device lets you enjoy smoother 4K streaming even when several devices are connected to the internet. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max has racked up more than 7,800 five-star ratings on Amazon, with customers saying it's a 'game-changer' and offers the 'best streaming experience'.

Very happy with this purchase and even thinking about buying another one even though they aren't the cheapest streaming stick on the market they are well worth the money."

However, although hailing the device as 'brilliant', another shopper said the included remote control is 'flimsy', writing: "Brilliant Fire Stick. This was easy to set up, quickly ready to go and has been a dream. It is responsive, there's no lag time, the quality of the pictures are brilliant. Only (small) issue was that the remote is a bit flimsy and not particularly well made."
