Fans of Love Island couple Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page were left shocked this week when it was announced they had ended their romance - with the Strictly Curse seemingly to blame

Strictly Come Dancing star Tasha Ghouri was spotted in a tense phone call when she was spotted in the wake of news she has split from Love Island boyfriend Andrew Le Page.

The 26-year-old reality star - who found fame on ITV's dating show during season eight in 2022 where she fell for 29-year-old Andrew - was spied looking tense in Birmingham on Tuesday. Tasha and Andrew made it all the way to the final of Love Island when they starred on the show - ending in fourth place.

And the real estate agent from Guernsey gleefully supported Tasha during her time on Strictly last year - during which time she reached the final alongside dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec, 34. While Tasha and Andrew were fan favourites after finding love on ITV's show, their romance was not to last, and this week it was revealed that they had split up.

Photographs have now emerged showing Tasha looking tense while out and about in Birmingham. Dressed in a fluffy coat, the star looked far from her bubbly self while being shadowed by Strictly dancer Aljaž.

The duo are taking part in the 2025 Strictly Come Dancing tour - which sees couples from the 2024 season dance for live audiences around the company. The Daily Mail have shared photos of Tasha and Aljaž together - with the Love Island star looking focused and stern while on the phone.

However, she is then photographed looking happy and smiling once she has ended the call. The new images have appeared following reports that Tasha has signed up to exclusive dating app, Raya.

Her profile shows the star describing herself as a "Northern girly" who is "always smiling and laughing, having a good time." And images that have emerged from the app have shown her posing in a red dress, and another showing her on a beach.

Tasha and Andrews split has been pinned on the fabled Strictly curse - which has been blamed for destroying dozens of relationships for people who have featured on the BBC show. It has been suggested her dance commitments got in the way of their love.

A source told The Sun this week: "Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly. She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaz and that drove a wedge between them as time went by."

The source continued: "Now she’s going off on tour she’s going to be away from Andrew again. They talked about ending their relationship at the start of January and she’s heading out on the Strictly tour as a single woman."

While a further insider close to the couple told the publication the pair had "hit a rocky patch" and broken up. The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour is due to keep participants bust on the road until 9 February when the string of shows will climax with a final performance in London.
