Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly has revealed her "Oh my god" ageing moment.

It's no secret that the TV star looks amazing at 55, but she has admitted that she had a slight wobble when it comes to ageing. She is back on our screens as she presents the 2024 series of Strictly but she has now given away her secrets as how she stays looking so younge.

However, she had admitted there was a moment when she said she has "wrinkles galore". Despite this, Tess has said that she knows there are no alternatives and it is just a part of ageing.

Speaking to Closer, Tess discussed her "on my god" moment. She said: "I've got wrinkles galore. You know when you look down at your iPhone and the camera is open, and you go, 'Oh my God!' I'm at that point - but what's the alternative?"

Tess has said she has a specific skin care routine to keep her looking fresh. She said she now wears less makeup than when she was younger, even when she graces our screens. Tess says that she has never gone under the knife but invests in skin treatments such as Ultratherapy that lifts and tightens the skin and stars at around £500.

The 2024 series of Strictly Come Dancing is upon us and Tess has joined co-star Claudia Winkleman for their annual presenting duties. It has been reported that the duo have a "pact" to leave the show together, with some thinking the current series could be their last.

The pair have fronted the long-running BBC show together since 2014. Strictly is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year but has in recent months faced claims about what it's apparently been like behind-the-scenes in previous years. Former pros Giovanni Pernice, 34, and Graziano Di Prima, 30, both left the show ahead of the latest series amid allegations about them.

It's now been claimed that Tess and Claudia have been "feeling the heat" and are considering leaving before a potential series next year. A source told Closer magazine: "Claudia and Tess are in it together. But both of them have said this could be their last year, and if one goes the other will follow. They've made a pact on that."

The source said that Tess is feeling an "itch to spread her wings" after having been on Strictly since it began back in 2004. The source claimed that she's asking herself if, amid the anniversary, it's time for to take a "final bow" as host. It's claimed that she doesn't want to be on a "sinking ship" and would prefer to "go out with a bang".
