TV newsman Dan was an unexpected arrival at the wedding today, with him thought to have been invited by Adam, after they both appeared on Strictly Come Dancing. After the show former BBC Breakfast host Dan praised the swimmer saying getting to know him was "one of the best things" about doing the show. This is another Strictly connection. Sara appeared on the same series as Peaty and Holly's sister, Tilly Ramsay. It was the 2021 show that first brought Adam and Holly together, when she visited the set to support her sister. Perhaps it shouldn't be a surprise to see MasterChef: The Professionals star Marcus because he would undoubtedly have been invited by Gordon. The sweary chef is godfather to Wareing's eldest son and were very close in the 1990s.
