ITV Dancing on Ice's Anton Ferdinand suffers devastating blow hours before live show
New data shows Anton Ferdinand could be in danger of missing out on the Dancing on Ice semi-final as he goes up against Dan Edgar, Mollie Pearce, Sam Aston and Michaela Strachan
by Danni King · The MirrorDancing on Ice is now in its seventh week with the next live show scheduled to air tonight (Sunday, 23 February).
The remaining contestants will perform to songs from different musicals on the ice as they compete to bag a spot in next week's highly anticipated semi-final.
Following last week's elimination, the celebrities remaining in the competition are Anton Ferdinand, Dan Edgar, Mollie Pearce, Sam Aston and Michaela Strachan.
Former footballer Anton, 40, and his skating partner Annette Dytrt are due to perform a routine to Les Misérables track Bring Him Home. However, new data has revealed the pair could be in danger of not making it to the semi-final.
It has been revealed that the star is the favourite to be eliminated this week, with odds of 2/5, according to Ladbrokes. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "The footballer finally looks set to be given the boot, if the latest odds are anything to go by... having done incredible to make it this far, it looks as though Anton Ferdinand will be sent packing tonight."
The Traitors star Mollie follows closely behind at 3/1, while Coronation Street's Sam Aston sits at 5/1. TOWIE's Dan Edgar looks like a less likely contestant to be eliminated, with odds of 16/1, while Michaela Strachan is the least like to be voted off, with odds of 25/1.
The bookmakers has also revealed that Anton's chances of being crowned the Dancing on Ice 2025 champion are looking unlikely, with his odds sitting at 50/1. In contrast, Michaela - the current favourite to win - has odds of 6/4.
Anton and Annette have impressed on the ice so far, but they found themselves in the dread skate-off after last week's show. The pair had performed a routine to You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) by Dead or Alive for 80's Week, which bagged them a score of 38.5.
Anton faced actress Charlie Brooks in the skate-off, with the ex-EastEnders star ultimately ending up being sent home. Judges Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse and Jane Torvill chose to save Anton and Annette in the skate-off, meaning fourth judge Christopher Dean did not need to issue a vote.
Dancing on Ice airs on Sundays on ITV1 at 6.30pm
